What does the measured value indicate about the degree of hygiene?

Determine the required limit values ​​for the cleaned surface. For flat and smooth surfaces (such as glass or metal) a limit value of 200 RLU is normally sufficient. In the case of irregular surfaces (eg plastic or scratch products), 500 RLU should usually not be exceeded.

Always check after cleaning, but before disinfection and sterilization. Only in this way will you obtain conclusive values. Then determine, according to the results of the control, the appropriate measures. Surfaces that prove to be unhygienic and sterile must be cleaned again and then checked.
